This project was difficult but by far the most satisfying home project we have done. This pond has been completely maintenance free since it was completed and has exceeded our expectations in every way. Bay State was the only pond construction company that understood our vision and worked with us to build a completely natural looking pond. We had seen a couple of backyard water features that got us interested. Then we had the opportunity to see 2 that Jim and Mike of Baystate Aquascapes had created.  We had a crude concept in mind for our backyard and brought Jim out to discuss it with him.  We decided to go ahead and just let Jim put his design talents to work. We now have a winding steam, a series of waterfalls and a lovely fish pond.  Friends and neighbors tell us that it looks so natural, you would almost believe it was always there.  Jim and Mike were a pleasure to work with.  They were patient with our questions and suggestions and followed through on everything they promised and more.  Their combination of artistic talent, people skills and business integrity is rare these days. We cannot say enough positive about their creativity, they way they worked with us and the incredible beauty of the finished product.
